A Bit About Me

My Story

"My name is Hayley and I am know mostly on social Media as The Gin Wyche.  I live in a sleepy little town in rural Lincolnshire with my husband, son and menagerie of animals.

I am actually a practising witch, but I am more like Sally's Character out of the film Practical Magic with an avid interest in lotions and potions.

It was my love of aromatherapy along with being diagnosed with diabetes type 2 that piqued my interest in gin in the first place.

I love researching all the different botanicals that go into making gin, and I am currently writing a book on gin from a witches perspective, which is proving very interesting research!"

 I’m passionate about and inspired by new gins and the botanicals they contain. I love engaging with other bloggers and gaining new insights into the whole process of distilling.

I came across gin when I was diagnosed with diabetes type 2 and the first thing I thought was 'what can I drink now?' This has led me on quite a voyage of discovery which I would like to share with my readers. Needless to say I have found some amazing gins and I look forward to trying and reviewing more as time goes by.
